Ascend Treacherous Towers And Delve Beneath The Waves In Timespinner 2

Lunar Ray Games has unveiled the first footage of the sequel to its surprising Metroidvania-inspired game Timespinner. Dubbed Timespinner 2: Unwoven Future, this adventure frames a retired war hero named Auria as its main protagonist on a quest to save her son.

Like Lunais before her, Auria wields magical orbs to fight enemies in her way. On her journey, Auria will visit what we assume are friendly places like the Tower of the Apocalypse and the Domain of Dreams, a region deep under the sea. From what’s present in the trailer, Timespinner 2 takes heavy cues from the aesthetics of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and you know what? We’re not too bothered by it.

Little is known about how Timespinner 2 ultimately ties to the original, but we know it takes place several years after the first game. Lunar Ray promises that we’ll see some familiar faces, however.

No release date is available quite yet, but Timespinner 2 is available to be wishlisted on Steam right now. Currently, only the PC release is confirmed, and any potential consoles it will appear on will be announced at a later date. If you haven’t checked out the OG Timespinner, it can be played on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
